In today's softModder tutorial, I'll be showing you a way to take screenshots of Snapchat photos and remain undetected by the sender in the new iOS 7 beta for iPhone.

Now, if you send a Snapchat picture on your iOS 7 device to somebody who has iOS 6, and they take a screenshot of the image, you will be notified. However, if they send you a Snapchat photo from their iOS 6 device (or really any Apple device not running iOS 7—and any Android device) to your iOS 7 device and you take a screenshot of the image, they will not be notified!

This is because Apple changed the screenshot behavior in iOS 7, where active touches are no longer canceled when the user takes a screenshot. When you hold your finger on the Snapchat photo to view it on your iOS 7 device, then take a screenshot, the screenshot cancels out you touching the Snapchat image, and takes a screenshot right before the display heads back to the Snapchat menu—and this is what prevents Snapchat from sending a screen shot notification.

Snapchat will probably work on patching this, but in the meantime, if you have iOS 7, screenshot undetected all you want.
