After 1,100 days of conflict, the Syrian people are suffering mightily. A generation of children is growing up traumatized, and countries in the region are buckling under the pressure of taking in so many refugees -- nearly 3 million to date.
UNHCR and its partners are calling on donors to fund a $3.74 billion programme across Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt to save lives, prevent harm, protect the vulnerable and strengthen the capacity and resilience of refugees and host communities.
