Not my invention but definitely in my winter truck kit.

The toilet paper acts as a wick and doesn't burn. Just keep adding the isopropyl alcohol as needed. 1 pint of alcohol should provide roughly 24 hours heat at approximately 65-70° for a standard car or small van. There are 2 pints in a quart so with this kit you have 4 pints of alcohol. Should be enough heat for at least a couple of days in an emergency. The heater doesn't produce carbon monoxide, however, all combustion consumes oxygen so dont forget to crack the windows!
