Established in 1996, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment is recognised as Australias peak non-profit Registered Training Organisation for the Australian Computer Games and 3D animation industries. Specialising in 3D computer graphics, games programming and design education, the Academy provides real pathways to employment via outcomes-based training approved by industry and delivered by industry-experienced teachers. Students at AIE are trained in the latest techniques on state-of-the-art hardware and software. Generic skills, such as teamwork and reliability, are emphasised and assessed as part of courses. All AIE full-time courses are nationally accredited and recognised through the Australian Qualifications Framework. AIE has campuses located in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. The AIE offers full-time and part-time pathways. Students can study a certificate 2 part time, Certificate 3 online or a 2 year Advanced Diploma.
