Enjoy this journey to the northern karst zone of Puerto Rico. It is located primarily in the sub-tropical moist forest life zone. Landscape is most limestone haystack hills called "mogotes". This region holds the most extensive forest canopy cover. There are many caves in the karst. This video shows a trip to Cave Vientos, At the entrance of the cave people can feel a cold draft coming out of the cave. One of the most amazing creatures is the whip spider (Amblypygids). The trip was part of the investigations about cave's insects did by the Center of Environmental Investigations of Juan Ponce de León HS in Florida PR.
