Northwest Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspect who robbed M&M Deli in Roxborough.

On Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 2:00 pm, an unknown male entered the M&M Deli located at 458 Markle Street armed with a handgun. Once inside the suspect walked directly behind the counter pointing the handgun at the complainant/employee, a 50 year-old-male, and began going through his pockets then taking money from the cash register. While the suspect was filling a white bag with a red star logo (possibly a Macy's bag) with cigarettes, the employee pushed the silent alarm at which time the suspect began beating the employee punching him repeatedly in his head knocking him unconscious. After taking an estimated $1500 in cash and merchandise the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The complainant was treated for a broken orbital bone and was released from the hospital.

Suspect Description: Black male, early to mid 30 years-of-age, 6'0″-6'2″, muscular build, light facial hair, wearing a blue/white button-up hooded sweatshirt, tan baseball cap with a dark colored brim, white/black sneakers, and checkered black/white boxer shorts.
