Dr. Brian Morris, a professor emeritus in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney, in Sydney, Australia, discusses results of his study published in the May 2014 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, which notes 50% of all uncircumcised males have increased risk of adverse medical conditions related to retention of the foreskin, and he equates the importance and safety of the circumcision procedure with those for vaccinations.
