World leaders will participate in the morning session of the 71st Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 71) in New York on Tuesday, September 20.
The UNGA meeting this year is expected to focus on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which were adopted in September 2015. Also on the agenda during the session, are three high-level meetings on refugees and migrants, antimicrobial resistance and the Paris Climate Agreement.
