During the London Olympics tweets mentioning the olympics were gathered and the sentiment analysis program SentiStrength was used to identify whether the tweets were positive or negative overall. At nine O'Clock every night during the Olympics and before, the world's first social media-driven light show appeared on the London Eye, with the pattern generated by the ratio of positive to negative tweets on the day.
