This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Paola takes us on a magical journey around the globe introducing us to the women who are making change in their communities and bringing light, hope and improvements. She calls these women: The women who light the dark!

Paola Gianturco is a photojournalist who has travel the world and documented the life of women in over 55 countries. She has published 5 books to date and all the royalties of her books are used to support women organizations around the world. In her extensive travels across the years she has been able to answer a very important questions" what do women want?"
