In this digital story, Shana shares the story of her diagnosis when she was only 22 years old, in college and dealing with the end of a difficult relationship. She also shares her fears after realizing that she had acquired the virus during her pregnancy and after being told she would only have five years to live. Shana and husband Bear discuss how love, treatment and knowledge helped them fight HIV together. They also share their reason for participating in this campaign: to raise awareness of this important issue among the Native American community.
