"Culture is identity and identity is very important... When an elder dies, it's like a library burning down so we want to get that knowledge before this generation goes." They are the Maasai in Kenya and their centuries old culture is at risk of disappearing.
Armed with audio recorders, laptops and cameras, John and Ann travel deep into the communities to document valuable cultural expressions handed down by generations of Maasai elders.
The video also looks at WIPO's assistance to the Maasai community in protecting and preserving their rich cultural heritage.
