Part 2 continues at P.I.C.O.P near Bislig, with azure-breasted pitta, Philippine trogon, naked-faced spiderhunter, metallic-winged sunbird, an insect, blue-capped woodland-kingfisher, wattled broadbill, a snake, buff-spotted flameback, rufous-lored kingfisher, and male and female handsome sunbird.
After lunch we see male then female Mindanao hornbill, rufous hornbill, celestial monarch, some butterflies, Asian glossy starling, black-naped monarch, Philippine bulbul, a lizard, barred honey-buzzard, coleto, yellow-wattled bulbul, guaiabero, black-and-white triller, some butterflies and large-billed crow.
Next day we fly to Palawan and that evening see white-vented shama and Palawan (Javan) frogmouth. Next day we visit Iwahig Penal Colony where we see Palawan tit, melodious babbler, hill mynah, Palawan blue-flycatcher, Palawan flycatcher, Asian koel, pygmy flowerpecker, pin-striped tit-babbler, Palawan flowerpecker, sulphur-bellied bulbul, Palawan (grey-cheeked) bulbul, pale (little) spiderhunter and hooded pitta. Out in the rice paddies we see Pacific golden plover and a black-winged stilt with an Oriental pratincole.
In some mangroves we see copper-throated sunbird and common iora. Then we go to the beach and see roosting grey-tailed tattlers and Chinese egret. At dusk we head out to a small island and see Mantanani scops-owl. Continued n Part 3.
