My train song. Half the fun was matching the itinerary on the Canada Rail website. Words & music by Nappy Martin of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Thanks to Steve at CanadaByRail.com for use of the breathtaking train and railway photographs. The heroine of this story ended up in Arizona; me, I could drink this Alberta scenery forever. I couldn't resist the laundry shot, makes the respective lyrics hit home, no? Reckon this song will make me better known in Medicine Hat, Alberta than Medicine Hat, Wyoming, but it's a start. Maybe I should shoot for Casper, Wyoming, or Riverton, Wyoming, or reach for the brass ring, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
