Florida State senator Ellyn Bogdanoff introduced a bill that would send certain non-violent drug offenders to a treatment facility that's run by the corrections system, once they've finished serving half of their sentence. The bill got overwhelming support but when it reached Governor Rick Scott's desk, it got vetoed.
