U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison discusses the importance of NASA at the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee's Science and Space subcommittee hearing.

"We have worked very hard to move NASA forward and I think that the authorization bill that brought together the need for the commercial investment and the commercial opportunity along with the use of our workforce that has the experience of so many years and building the rockets and the launchers that together we believe that we have a good way forward and what I hope we can hear from you today is that we need to adhere to the authorization and strategy and that that is the way we should be proceeding..."
