Dr. Dhavid Cooper, CEO of FramesDirect.com, discusses the features of Serengeti sunglasses, considered great driving sunglasses, with a Serengeti representative.
Dr. Dhavid Cooper: One of the questions that we get asked, and maybe you can answer is, what makes Serengeti so perfect for driving?
Todd Butsch: Serengeti lenses are perfect for driving simply because they were built to enhance yellows, reds and greens. These are colors that are used most for driving.
Dr. Dhavid: Are Serengetis polarized, or some are polarized?
Butsch: Some are polarized, not all. The choice is whether you want the polarized or not. They're photochromic so they're all light and dark, depending on what the intensity of the sun is. They all have an anti reflective back coating to eliminate backside glare that comes from the cheeks.
This particular piece that I'm showing is a new one. Its got a new enamel that we use. It's got a leather like look and feel. We use a beta titanium, this is called S flex. You get all the action of a spring loaded hinge with no moving parts, nothing to wear out. It's makes a lighter product as well.
