We run through our method of replacing bearings on an old 24-spoke Spinergy winter wheelchair wheel that I use for snow (note: we are not pros - don't take what we say as gospel!). The Veritas journeyman's mallet we use can be found at http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page... the Phil's waterproof grease can be found at http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/Cycling.... The bearings we use are from VXB (http://www.vxb.com/); I would stick with quality bearings like these rather than off-shore brands (I checked these with digital calipers before using them). Incidentally, Spinergies (both the old and the new Spox) take R8-2RS sealed bearings (1/2"x1 1/8"x5/16"). If you are unsure which to use, take a look at the old ones - all bearings are labeled on one side of the plastic cover.
