Here's a taste of what Casita Andina will be like when we open on July 28th 2016. Opening at 31 Great Windmill St, Casita Andina is inspired by Peruvian ‘picanterias’; family-run, traditional restaurants which serve the local community. Usually found in the Andes in the homes of ‘Andinas’ (women from the Andes), Martin grew up eating in such picanterias, gaining his love and knowledge of cooking from his Andina grandmother.
Together with Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes, Martin and the team have created a menu combining these memories and traditions with London creativity. Our restaurants' focus is on incredible flavours; honest dishes full of tradition, and organic, sustainable ingredients. And Martin's love for the Andes will come through in a celebration of dishes and drinks, textiles and textures.
The soon-to-open Casita Andina and Ceviche Soho, Andina and Ceviche Old St are pioneering Peruvian restaurants in London.
They were created by Peruvian chef, restaurateur and award-winning author Martin Morales and our team. Ceviche Soho kick started the Peruvian food revolution in London. Andina is a Michelin Guide listed all-day restaurant which champions the unique world of the Andes and its nutritious ingredients. Ceviche Old St won the award for Best New UK Venue 2016 and is a restaurant and art gallery in the beautifully restored Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms.
