In many ways the holidays are a time of plenty, but for some members of the community times are tough no matter what time of year it is.
St. Bernard's friendship room understands this need and is cooking up a Good Friday meal for the hungry. The friendship room is a place where hungry families and individuals in the community can come get a good meal for free and be with freinds.
Today, in honor of Good Friday, they are serving fish, potatoes, coleslaw and dessert. They serve meals 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday.
Tonight, dinner was served from 4 to 5:30 and volunteers from several organizations come out to do what they can.
