Noel Lyons of http://www.wellcoach.co.uk interviews Dr Joe for the Weekly Fitness Challenge. None of us want our cars to break down at the side of the road. It is costly and inconvenient. We all know that a car that is well cared for will run better and look sleeker. Simple things like using the right fuel, pumping the tires correctly and using coolant can make the difference between being mobile and breaking down. The same basic principles apply to the body. We do not want our body to "break down" at the side of the road, or anywhere else for that matter. Simple things like putting in the right fuel, pumping the muscles correctly with exercise and using coolant (water) can make the difference between having good health and being sick. If you want knowledge that you can apply today to help you and your family look and feel better for longer then you have come to the right place.Being healthy is more than just not getting sick! It is about having the energy and vitality to do the things we want to do. It is about having that glow and radiance which tells the world that I am in great shape. Health is not about taking pills or having doctors' visits. Being healthy is not difficult either, despite what you may have heard. It is about the things that we do everyday to maintain our body. These are all comprised in the eight pillars of health:.Diet and weight loss, exercise and fitness, sleep, relaxation, relationships. Your body needs all of these in the right amounts to function optimally.
