I have embarked upon a project to build a drone to deliver a sausage at high speed. The first stage is to build an airframe and test fly it. This is where I am right now, and this is a video of the maiden flight.

It is a flying wing built from the DS2 plan (Dead Simple Wing 2) downloaded for free from rcgroups,com, designed by forlack. I scaled it up to 46 inches (an A0 sheet print of the plan) and built it from EPP foam - 7mm 1.9# foam for the wings and 20mm 1.3# foam for the fuselage plates.

Power is from a turnigy 2836 2350kv motor powered by 2x 2200mah 4 cell lipos in parallel via a 60amp ESC, spinning a 6x4 prop. This is adequate but I think it will benefit from increased power.

The wing has balsa leading and trailing edges, balsa elevons, is covered in laminating film and has a 7x8mm carbon fibre square section beam through the wing.
