Who are the best experts on the Black male high school experience? Darryl Briggs was one of four young Black leaders at June's CDF/ETS Symposium, Black Male Teens: Moving to Success in the High School Years, who shared the challenges he lived in high school including dropping out. Darryl Briggs is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work at Lehman College. He is an alumnus and current national trainer for the Children's Defense Fund's Young Advocate Leadership Training. Briggs enjoys speaking to young people about his experiences and encourages them to use his life for inspiration. He received his associate in arts degree in human services from Bronx Community College.
