Jason Swedlow was interviewed on May 17th 2011 by Sarah Currier for the Centre for Research Communications.

In this clip he talks about his work in openly publishing data with research papers, and how he got his start in open science via developing open source software for microscopy images in cell biology. He defines open science, and touches on why he doesn't go as far as open notebook science in the current research culture.
