The first ever performance of the KIPP Charlotte step team, coached by Mr. Brooks. This performance was at the Black History Month show, "The African Diaspora," on February 23, 2012.

(At the beginning, the boys are discussing a basketball game they all watched the night before. Student runs in and changes the subject.)
KIPPster 1: Hey guys, guess what I just read? Only 50% of graduates from high school go to college.
KIPPsters: 50%? We're gonna have to do something about that. That sounds like a job for Super KIPPsters!

(As they step, they spell out KIPP.)

1:30 - "This is not enough. We need to work hard to close the achievement gap."
1:50 - "One Pride. One sound."
2:20 - "Whew! I'm tired. I need to take a break."
2:38 - "We're all a part of this Pride, so if you sit down, we all sit down."
3:40 - "Work hard. Get smart. No excuses. No shortcuts."
