St. Cloud, Minnesota. (KMSP) - St. Cloud Police say the suspect in the Crossroads Center mall stabbings has been shot and killed by an off duty police officer.

Police responded around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. They say eight people were attacked.

St. Cloud Police Chief William Blair Anderson said the suspect was wearing a private security uniform and carrying a knife. Police have dealt with them before. Chief Anderson says it was mainly from traffic violations. He says he is not willing to say if it is terror related, but will make updates once the investigation develops.
