Grand Geyser (2015)

Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano (northwestern Wyoming, USA).

Grand Geyser is one of the largest geysers in Yellowstone and is the namesake of the Grand Group. It is the world’s tallest predictable geyser, with bursts that can reach between 150 and 200 feet high. Eruptions in modern times usually occur every 5.5 to 9 hours or so.
