Earlier this week Fitbit introduced a new "smart" fitness watch with a color LCD display, called the Fitbit Blaze, which many people saw as an attempt to compete with Apple Watch. In a video interview this morning with The Verge, Fitbit co-founder and CEO James Park said comparisons to Apple Watch are logical but superficial observations, and that the Blaze is targeted at Fitbit's "core audience" of active users.
