was the main score editing tool developed by the Structured Sound Synthesis Project (SSSP) at the University of Toronto in the late 1970s. It was an object-oriented tool used for composing and editing music, including orchestration. It enabled a range of different styles of graphical music notation. Remember the date. This was several years before the Macintosh came out, and even more years prior to MIDI.
