Place 1.5oz's of putty in the microwave for 12-14 seconds, it should feel like clay. Allow the putty to cool until it is comfortable enough to touch then, thoroughly knead and smooth the putty. If the putty is to hot it will slowly droop, wait until the putty is cool enough to hold it shape before creating your mold.

Push your object into the putty then diligently press the putty around the object making sure all the voids are filled. Allow the putty to solidify (you can speed it up by placing it in the freezer.) Once it feels like a stiff rubber the putty is ready.

Now cut the mold down one side pull out the part and create a hole to pour into down by the feet. Tape the mold back up and place it in the freezer to keep it cool. Melt the woods metal in a double boiler so that its temperature stays below 212F (100C). The woods metal can be melted directly on the stove top however, the temperature should be below 200F before it is poured into the mold. Once the liquid metal has been poured give it a minute or two to cool and then de-mold. Place the mold back in the freezer for 10 minutes before making your next low melt metal soldier.
