Not only will you get a chance to enjoy whisky tastings but also special guided tours of distilleries. Including the likes of Teaninich, which is not normally open to the public.
But this wouldn’t be a scotch whisky festival without sampling some fine Scottish fayre. You will find whisky themed lunches and special dinners led by some of the leading chefs in the area and even a BBQ.
Given that this is a festival in a town renowned for its hospitality, you will also find ceilidhs, traditional and live music festivals. And of course, it wouldn’t be Dornoch without an opportunity to play some golf at one of the world’s greatest golf courses – Royal Dornoch.
While attending the festival you may even be fortunate to sample some rare and very exclusive malt whiskies from some of the local distilleries and others.
So if you want to attend one of the finest scotch malt whisky festivals, you need to put this one firmly in your diary. What better than attending a malt whisky festival in the heart of Scotland with beautiful scenery, so much to do and a world leading golf course.
