This tutorial shows how to download, install and then use Freemake Video Converter. During installation you have to select "Custom Installation" so you can UNcheck the AVG toolbar and homepage. You also have to checkmark "I do not accept" on another freebie but it's on its own page of the installation and is not hidden.
Freemake uses Microsoft's NET Framework and, if you don't have the version it needs, it will prompt you to install it during program installation. Click "OK" to install the NET Framework.
After installation, I show how to customize the conversion for Movie Maker and also how to customize the conversion for uploading to YouTube.
