High Elevation Impact Sampling Tool (HEIST) is an LSU undergraduate research project funded by NASA.

The instrument was designed by a team of Bio, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers and is designed to collect microbial aerosols at varying altitudes (up to 30,000ft).
