Show how it's done Freddy! Arthur "Freddy" Countryman, 71, of Kinsley, KS passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka. He was born on May 18, 1938 in Kinsley, the son of John D. and Ardis Cornell Countryman. He lived most of his life in Kinsley. He graduated from Kinsley High School in 1956. He was an Army veteran. Freddy was employed as a pattern maker for Douglas Aircraft in Los Angeles for 15 years. He then became a self-employed contractor in Kinsley. His true passion was guitar and played in several bands. One of his recordings was featured as a Billboard Magazine Top 10. He was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Freddy built the guitar he is playing.
