The Weather Channel spotlighted Green Light New Orleans, a New Orleans based organization created to provide a pathway for anyone to live more sustainably. Green Light's feature program provides free energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) to any community resident and installs them with the help of volunteers from all over the country, at no cost to residents.

The goal of the program is to create an immediate impact with each bulb, which saves an average of $45 in utility costs and reduces nearly 665 pounds of CO2 over its lifespan. We promote a path for individuals to start living efficiently and sustainably through the proof of their individual savings and the organization's impact.

We would love to have and need your support.
