"A community's strength comes from the actions it takes together." ~Anonymous

Musicians unite in opposition to the 31 cuts made by NARAS. Review important meeting records/statements. The Trustees have an obligation to do some thing about this. If they don't they are weak and must resign. The membership should pay attention to their responsibility. Request documentation from the NARaS as to how this decision-making process was initiated. Call for an investigation into this matter ASAP. Look into the voting process as well.

Musicians and others must unite to draw attention to the need for racial and gender diversity in NARAS awarding for excellence and recognition in music.
There is a need to resintate the 31 cuts and increase the inclusion of different identity groups of music, change the management team and promote better teamwork management styles.

THE TRUSTEES MUST HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF AMERICA'S MUSIC/contributions to excellence. .. per the mission statement which must be adhered to. They must not bring down the Grammy Awards with their failure to act upon what they know. The Truth of this MATTER is NEIL MUST BE FIRED NOW! Check to see if Neil or staff how they may have lost money to the NARAS organization (check for mismangement), membership is it down (lack of leadership), so, does the membership have a no vote of confidence in Neil? In any other situation, a CEO would of been fired by now by the board. What wrong with this picture? TRUSTEES do the right thing, correct the wrong that was done and restore the 31 categories, all of them not just one. Expand, don't cut. Increase the categories.

SOLUTION: Change the leadership and improve staff's training: include team building, and diversity training.

Organizations that incorporate a consistent diversity training program and advocate diversity in the workplace experience valuable benefits such as: Higher employee retention rates, Improved employee (individual and team) performance and morale, Reduced harassment incidences, charges, and discrimination lawsuits, Improved workplace staffing (diversity recruitment) includes board of trustees.

The Truth will prevail and you all (Staff and Trustees) will be responsible for the downfall of the GRAMMY AWARDS. To prevent this downfall reverse his decision and fire him.

In the end, diversity is on the minds of many—even if it isn't on the minds of some of the Trustees of NARAS or that guy named NEIL. He must take a hike and leave NARAS now! Reinstate the 31 cuts now or face consequence of you all ending the Grammy Awards.
