This was an approximately 7.4 mile paddle trip sponsored by both The New Jersey Conservation Foundation and The Delaware Riverkeeper Network. . It started in suburban Cherry Hill NJ and ended in urban Camden, NJ. We paddled through Camden County Park , portaged around a dam ( commonly called the Kaighn Ave.Dam), past portions of Camden City only now being newly rediscovered, and then into the Delaware River in the shadow of the Ben Franklin Bridge and Petty's Island. The Leaders were Fred Stine from the River Keeper's and Chris Jage from the New Jersey Conservancy.
