SAMHSA's National Prevention Week 2014 is May 18-24. National Prevention Week is a SAMHSA-supported annual health observance dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and action around, substance abuse and mental health issues. This video introduces the theme for National Prevention Week 2014—Our Lives. Our Health. Our Future. It encourages communities and people of all ages to participate in this year's observance and to engage in activities to prevent alcohol, tobacco, and drug issues and promote mental health.
