Fragaria moschata are known as musk strawberries. They are a hexaploid species that are dioecious - male and female plants are separate so they are not self pollinating. We have grown them for many years. This year we are growing them in 1 gallon aeration containers and are pleasantly surprised by the number of berries per plant and how much easier they are to maintain.
