Expertly concocted and sure to cure what ails ya, Elixir brews up rich textures laced with rhythmic excitement as elegant melodies evolve into raucous riffs. Lush harmonies, yummy improvisations, and tasty rock and reggae-inspired themes weave in and out of traditional and original Irish, French Canadian, and New England tunes. Curiously refreshing!

REMARKS: The Spanish Ballroom is a superb dance venue. Built in 1933 and restored in 2003, the art deco style ballroom has a wonderful, 7,700 SF spring maple floor which can easily handle 6 lines of contradancers.
Contrastock 2 featured three great bands (Wild Asparagus, Elixir, and Perpetual E-Motion) and three great callers (Nils Fredland, George Marshall, and Will Mentor). What a Wonderful Great Day of dancing!
