Fascinating feature uncovering the real story of how the inhabitants of Erikoussa, a small island in Greece, had a secret they all shared - they risked their lives in WW2 to save the family of a Jewish tailor from the Nazis. Through detective work of Gilad Japhet, founder and CEO of MyHeritage, the story was verified and the descendants of the Jewish family were found and learned of the remarkable story. The interview begins with Yvette Corporon, author of bestselling book "When The Cypress Whispers" that is based on these real events, whose grandmother was among the saviors. Yvette took up the mission to locate the descendants of the Jewish family. Through Gilad Japhet who made the genealogical discoveries and describes the main breakthroughs, and including an emotional interview with Abraham Hassid, whose mother Rosa was among those saved on the island of Erikoussa. All featured on Israeli channel 2 in Oded Ben Ami's show on April 16, 2015.
