A celebration of Django Reinhardt's 100th birthday, Le QuecumBar in London brought together 34 of some of the world's finest Gypsy guitar players from 6 countries. We are proud to say that 50% of those who accepted our invitation and represented the music of Django from across Europe were Gypsies.

All Gypsy Swing fans who know about the Django Reinhardt festival at Samois sur Seine each year will know that each year since the festival name has been bought by a French Jazz radio station that the presence of the Gypsies on stage has dimished each year - many of us do not agree with this adulteration of the Django festival and as requested by fans I have placed a petitition at the followijng link - if oyu agree please go there and sign and pass on to other Gypsy Swing fans thi sis their music and their hero
Django festival Samois - more homage to Gypsies
