E. Ethelbert Miller explores think tanks, the work scholars do at these institutions, their funding source and why a scholar would find a think tank an ideal play to work. The guest scholar is John Cavanagh the director of the Institute for Policy Studies, a progressive think tank founded in 1963 by Richard Barnet and Marcus Raskin. Mr. Cavanagh is a Princeton graduate. He is the co-author of 10 books and numerous articles on the global economy.
