We visit the site of No.16 Australian Personnel Services Camp, which existed from 1943 until 1946. The camp saw a great deal of activity as Divisional personnel were embarked for campaigns in the South West Pacific, including Kokoda, Buna/Gona, Sanananda, Salamaua, Borneo, Balikpapan and Shaggy Ridge. Featured finds are an Australian Army Major's Rank Badge (Crown), and just as the hunt was wrapping up, the 'dream' find for the military relic hunter - a soldier's "Dog Tag" (identity disc). Hope you enjoy the outing and if you have time, please visit our blog www.nqexplorers.com
