Anma Shunsuke and Nakashima Yuki were the premier danseur and prima ballerina of the Croatian National Theatre's ballet company. I received 3 months of ballet training from the two, who convinced me that a beautiful posture and gesture are merely the product of training, and that anyone can obtain them if they put in the effort.
Part 1 is the approach towards obtaining a beautiful shining posture.
Relax the back muscles to guide yourself towards the correct posture. For a ballerina, the chest refers not to the breast region, but the collar bone. This position is where the spotlight hits, and where the audience focuses on. Simply imagining the collar bone as the chest can help cause the body to lift itself up.
