What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public's assistance in locating a robbery suspect who stole medication from a Palm Harbor pharmacy customer.
When:
The robbery occurred on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at approximately 2:21 p.m.
Where:
The robbery occurred in front of the Trust Pharmacy located at 36515 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor.
Why/How:
Pinellas County detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating a robbery suspect who stole from a Palm Harbor pharmacy customer on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
According to detectives, the suspect was observed to be on the sidewalk, pacing back and forth waiting for the victim to exit the Trust Pharmacy located at 36515 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor. As the victim exited the pharmacy, the suspect grabbed the victim by her throat, threw her to the ground and made threatening statements towards her. The suspect then took the victim's medication before leaving the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age with white hair. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with white lettering, plaid shorts, tennis shoes, glasses and possibly has a tattoo on his calf.
The investigation continues.
