To see if the library has a book you need, simply search the library's catalog. It's accessible from the library's website at www.lehman.edu/library.

Let's say you want to find out about social change in Haiti. Type Haiti and social change into the search box. Click "Search."

From the list of results, choose a book you'd like to see and click on its title. To find out where to locate the book, click on "Lehman College" to the right of the of the call number field.

On this page, you'll see information about the book's location. This book's located in the "Stacks" (which means it's a book you can take home) and, because it says "Look on Shelf" under "Due date," it's not currently checked out. You'll also need to write down the book's call number, which is like its little address.

With the call number in hand, you're ready to look for this book on the shelf!
