People Of YES! interview Doctor George Patterson on the origin of church-planting movements within the Presbyterian denomination.

Highlights:

Presbyterians pioneered Asian CPMs by applying the principles of John Livingstone Nevius, in China and northern Korea, in the 19th century.

These principles included self-supported pastors and the staring of little churches in the homes of new believers.

Presbyterians are rightly known for their great preaching and expository sermons. However, this strength, taken to excess, can drown out other essential, gift-based ministries.
