1) David Oistrakh recorded on October 25 1949 with the State Symphony Orchestra of URSS conducted by Kyrill Kondrashin.

2) Yehudi Menuhin recorded on May 2 1938 in Paris with the "Orchestre des Concerts de Colonne" conducted by Georges Enescu (his violin teacher).

3) Jascha Heifetz recorded on February 23 and 25 1959 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Munch.

4) Zino Francescatti recorded on November 17 1954 with the New York Philharmonic conducted by Dimitri Mitropoulos.

5) Georg Kulenkampff recorded on April 4 1935 with the "Berliner Philharmoniker" conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt.
