I wrote this song for a song writing contest called Song Fu this spring. We had to write from the perspective of an inanimate object. I hope you like it!

Thanks to everyone who has been commenting and subscribing. I'm sorry that I'm not able to respond to all your comments, but I do read everything that comes through my channel and my videos. You are a very nice bunch of people and that makes me feel good inside my heart. Thank you. :)

My kitten's name is Violet. She was found abandoned by the side of the road with her sister (whom we have named Leela. Leela lives here too but she was sleeping). Violet is very sick right now, and is going to the veterinarian with her sister tomorrow to hopefully get some medicines to make her nose and her eyes all better.

Lyrics:
We met at the mall, though I knew we couldn't last
You took me in your hand, and the rest all went by so fast
Just when I thought that you might be the one,
Your lunch hour was over.

It's okay, I understand
Throw me away, at the bottom of this garbage can
I'm fine, it's not like it's the first time
I've been used

Those freaks at Taco Bell all think I'm pretty great
The only problem is, it's always over after the first date
For once in my life, I'd really like to know
The taste of Thanksgiving.

It's okay, I understand
Throw me away, at the bottom of this garbage can
I'm fine, it's not like it's the first time
I've been used
It's just something a spork has gotta get used to.

I don't know who I'm supposed to be
I'm stuck somewhere in between
You can keep your spoons, your knives, and forks
No one will ever know the love
Of a spork.
